Amazing!!! Super clear whether wired or being used through Bluetooth. The video is showing the speakers connected to my turntable via Bluetooth and the crisp sound is incredible. Worth every penny!
I’m very happy with my pair of R1280DBs speakers, these guys have a very good partnership with the T5 subwoofer as well as with my bluetooth turntable and TV.
Super satisfied with this purchase, was originally gonna go with mackies, but took a chance. Very displeased with the remote,very low quality and is destroying itself in the first week. Need to send out better quality ones that have longevity. Other than that excellent sounds and well balanced!
The small Edifer speakers were excellent for the space I had, fitting nicely flanking my turntable..I'm very happy with there sonic performance as well..Glad I purchased them..
These are honestly an amazing bang for your buck. I came from a pair or KRK Rokits that I used for music production, and these give them a run for their money. Sound quality is great and debatably easier to use recreationally than traditional studio monitors.
I’m not happy with the sound quality. The bass is boomy, while the mids and upper mids sound muddy and unclear. There is no noticeable difference between Bluetooth and the analog input. Across the entire frequency range, the speakers fail to reveal the quality and detail of a good recording.

These speakers offer a clear and detailed sound. The treble sounds sweet and the bass has thump despite the small size of the woofers. I'm thoroughly impressed by the build quality (the brown wood enclosure is very pretty) -- even the knobs on the side feel good to turn. I'm very happy with this purchase. These speakers are a great value.

My second pair of these little speakers (for a second computer at work). Full bass for the size, crisp highs, great for music and for video conferencing.
I connected as external speakers for Bose WaveRadio and as Bluetooth to iPhone 5s for internet radio. Both connections very easy, to radio with supplied cables and to internet with Bluetooth. Works as advertised and as expected. Attractive and functional.
Absolutely love the speakers. The color of the wood matches well with the rest of my room and the sound is fantastic. Bought these to use with my record player and they're a perfect match. Super easy to set up and to switch between Bluetooth and manual input, could not recommend more!!

Great speakers, love having a remote. The base is awesome even over Bluetooth. Additionally I had R1280T, the version just below, supposedly they are same speakers just with or without Bluetooth but I feel these are an improvement.
The speakers are fantastic, but the remote is trash. Like others have reported here and elsewhere, the remotes have a habit of not working. I've had a r1280db for a year or so, so I felt pretty confident buying two more sets. They arrived, the speakers are great, but both remotes are faulty (interestingly the remote for the set I had bought previously works fine with both sets of new speakers). Sadly, Edifier don't use standard codes on their remotes so you can't just swap in a universal remote and use a code, you need to have a working remote to clone. Then you get to Edifier Support. You send them an email, they act like they didn't read the email and ask for a video describing the problem? Excuse me, I just told you what the problem is? They ask for a video again, but they don't provide an option to upload a video, and shockingly, most videos are going to exceed the size for an email attachment. The whole rigmarole feels like an exercise in getting people to just give up. So, Speakers, great. Remotes and support trash. Very disappointed.

Great speakers at a great price. I’m using them with a turntable- had no idea my vinyl records could sound this good.
I paired my Fluance RT82 turntable with a set of Edifier R1280DB powered speakers. When I'm not listening to vinyl, they function as home theater speakers, providing a wide soundstage unattainable with a sound bar.
Perfect price, perfect size, most importantly, perfect sound. I know that there are probably some audiophiles that will only see the negatives of any product, but for the price, I only see the positives of these speakers!
