Great sound! Very good quality for that price
Die Edifier R1700BTs präsentieren sich als aktive 2.0 Regallautsprecher, die in ihrer Preisklasse durch ein ausgewogenes Verhältnis von Klangqualität, Design und Funktionalität überzeugen. Im Folgenden werde ich meine Eindrücke dieser Lautsprecher detailliert darlegen, basierend auf meinen Erfahrungen und unter Berücksichtigung technischer Spezifikationen. Außerdem bitte einmal noch Stark Berücksichtigen, das diese Lautsprecher zu einem Preis von ca. 125-140€ zu erhalten sind, was sie schon zu einem Budget System machen. Klangqualität: Die R1700BTs (66W) (2x 15W Hochtöner + 2x 18W Tief-/Mitteltöner) liefern ein überraschend klares und detailreiches Klangbild. Der Frequenzgang von 52 Hz bis 20 kHz deckt ein breites Spektrum ab, welches für die meisten Musikgenres und Anwendungen ausreichend ist. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die 19 mm Seidenkalotten-Hochtöner, die für eine präzise und seidige Wiedergabe im Hochtonbereich sorgen, ohne dabei zu spitz oder aggressiv zu wirken, sehr lobenswert- in dem Preisbereich. Die 4-Zoll-Tieftöner liefern im Bassbereich eine solide Grundlage, die zwar nicht übermäßig druckvoll, aber dennoch ausreichend definiert ist, zwar könnten Sie für mich noch etwas Druckvoller sein, aber dies würde dann auf Kosten der Mitten gehen und diese Klingen hier Großartig. Die Impedanz von 6 Ohm ermöglicht eine effiziente Leistungsübertragung und der geringe THD-Wert deutet auf eine geringe harmonische Verzerrung und somit auf eine hohe Klangtreue hin. - Kurzgefasst, Verzerrungen oder Übersteuern treten hier nahezu kaum bis gar nicht auf. Die Lautsprecher zeigen sich in dieser Manier von ihrer guten Seite. Im Vergleich zu anderen Lautsprechern in der Preisklasse von 100-150€ punkten die R1700BTs mit einer überdurchschnittlichen! Klarheit und Detailtreue. Die Dynamik ist ebenfalls ausreichend gut, Transienten werden präzise und schnell wiedergegeben. Thema Klangqualität sind diese hier Hohen und Mitten- Technisch überragend. Einzig am Bass (im Tieftonbereich) könnten sie noch etwas drauflegen, daher hier meine ganz klare Empfehlung, kauft euch noch einen Externen Subwoofer dazu und das Klangbild wird hier deutlich abgerundeter und ausgewogener. (Den Edifier T5 bekommt man hier ebenfalls schon für knappe 100€). PS: Kleine Anmerkung, wer hier richtige Schreihalse sucht, ist nicht ganz richtig aufgehoben, diese Lautsprecher werden zwar wirklich laut, aber nicht so, dass man damit ein 40qm Raum füllen kann. Ihre Stärke liegt hier ganz klar eher auf deren Klangqualität. An der Nutzung am TV oder PC, werden sie aber wirklich vollkommen ausreichend laut. Verarbeitung & Design: Die Gehäuse der R1700BTs bestehen aus MDF-Holz mit Walnuss-Vinyl-Finish. Die Materialwahl und die Verarbeitung wirken ebenfalls für diese Preisklasse absolut wertig und robust, sowas hat man sehr selten. Das klassische Design mit der leicht nach oben geneigten Front (10-Grad-Winkel) dient der optimalen Schallausrichtung. Die abnehmbaren Lautsprecherabdeckungen ermöglichen eine individuelle Anpassung an den persönlichen Geschmack. Ob einem die Holzoptik gefällt, ist jedem selbst Überlassen, da hier mit Schwarzen Akzenten gearbeitet wurde habe ich mir die Freiheit genommen und die Lautsprecher in All-Black zu lackieren, sehen so dann nochmal nh Schippe schöner aus. Die Seitlichen Elemente mit dem Bedienpanel und den dazugehörigen Knöpfen sind ebenfalls sehr gut ins Gehäuse mit verarbeitet und das ganze Konzept wirkt überaus Zuverlässig, Robust und Hochwertig verarbeitet, ohne den Preis zu kennen, hätte ich hier das Doppelte an Kaufpreis geschätzt. Bin mit der Verarbeitung überaus zufrieden. Funktionalität & Features: Die R1700BTs bieten eine Vielzahl an Anschlussmöglichkeiten. Neben Bluetooth 5.1 mit Qualcomm aptX HD für eine hochwertige drahtlose Audioübertragung stehen zwei RCA-Eingänge für den Anschluss von z.B. einem PC oder Fernseher zur Verfügung. (Leider hätte ich mir hier sehr gerne noch eine WLAN möglichkeit gewünscht, da so einfach das Musik-Streaming in hoher Qualität leichter wäre, aber man kann sie auch über kabel betreiben). Ein besonderes Feature ist der Subwoofer-Ausgang, der es ermöglicht, das System mit einem externen Subwoofer zu erweitern und den Tieftonbereich zu verstärken. (Absolut zu empfehlen!!!) Die Bedienung erfolgt intuitiv über seitliche Drehregler für Bass, Höhen und Lautstärke. Die mitgelieferte Fernbedienung erhöht den Komfort zusätzlich. Die Bluetooth-Verbindung ist stabil und die Reichweite von bis zu 10 Metern (in meinem Fall) ausreichend. Die Boxen werden miteinander mit einem außerordentlichen langen Lautsprecherkabel verbunden, dass ist ebenfalls extrem Positiv hervorzuheben, meistens sind die Kabel in der Preisklasse an dem Aktivlautsprecher fest verbaut und dann nur 1,5m Lang. Hier kann ich die extrem weit voneinander aufstellen! Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Mit einem Preis von etwa 120€-140€ bieten die Edifier R1700BTs ein wirklich ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Kombination aus Klangqualität, Verarbeitung, Design und Funktionalität sucht in dieser Preisklasse ihresgleichen. Ich habe schon wirklich extrem viele Lautsprecherboxen gehabt, aber keine ist Ansatzweise so gut wie die hier in der Preisklasse. Daher von mir eine ganz klare Kauf-Empfehlung! Zielgruppe: Die R1700BTs eignen sich für Musikliebhaber, die Wert auf ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis legen und ein vielseitiges Lautsprechersystem für den Einsatz am PC, Fernseher oder als eigenständiges Audiosystem suchen. Die Regallautsprecher bieten ein sehr gutes Klangbild und sehr detailreiche Höhen und Mitten. Tipps zur optimalen Nutzung: - Positionieren Sie die Lautsprecher leicht unter Ohrhöhe und leicht angewinkelt, um eine optimale Klangbühne zu erzeugen. - Nutzen Sie die Möglichkeit, den Klang über die Bass- und Höhenregler an Ihre persönlichen Vorlieben anzupassen. - Falls Sie einen stärkeren Bass bevorzugen, können Sie das System mit einem externen Subwoofer erweitern. (Absolut zu empfehlen) Fazit: Die Edifier R1700BTs überzeugen durch ein ausgewogenes Klangbild, eine sehr gute Verarbeitung, ein ansprechendes Design und eine ausreichende Anzahl an Funktionen. In Anbetracht des attraktiven Preises stellen sie eine klare Empfehlung für preisbewusste Musikliebhaber dar.

I am very pleased with this pair of speakers. I can Bluetooth from any device and the sound quality is excellent. The remote is very useful too. The cabinets are nicely made. I did not expect a cable to be linking both speakers (trying to get away from wired speakers) but happily I could run the cable behind a partition, exiting at the rear of each speaker, which are located on a floating shelf which is 4 m in length. The sound fills the converted attic very nicely and I am really pleased at the purchase. I did not think they would be this good!

I really like the sound of the speakers. First I was not sure if the subbass is strong enough but my solution for the phone was some fixes using an equalizer (wavelet). You can also use them for your TV with the right adapter (digital to cinch). I had to switch off the dolby-format on my TV since the adapter was too cheap to support it. In a sum you cant do anything wrong with these speakers.
I liked it. It has much more fidelity than my previous speakers that was Logitech z110, which was a very Nice upgrade.

Very good in treble and mids. Under 200 Hz everything gets funny. Deep man voices sound a little meshed up. But with a Subwoofer installed these are great speakers for music and films.
Ich hatte schon längere Zeit geplant meine bisher vorhandene 2.0 Soundanlage zu ersetzen und mich intensiv mit den Edifier Angeboten beschäftigt. Der Grund: Ich hatte schon vor vielen Jahren eine Edifier 2.1 Anlagen gekauft und war mit ihr zufrieden. Jetzte suchte ich aber nach einem Soudnsystem was ich unproblematisch mit 2 PC´s verbinden konnte. Nach diversen Testberichten hatte mich für die Edifier R 1700 BTS entschieden. Die wurde sehr schnell geliefert, war gut gegen Transportschäden verpackt und wurde schnell auf gebaut. mit einem 3,5 mm RCA Audio Cable wurde der 2. PC angeschlossen. Die gesamte Lieferung ist hochwertig verarbeitet und der Sound mit seinen Einstellmöglichkeiten hervorragend. Habe bereits die Edifier R 1700 BTS im Bekanntenkreis vorgeführt und die wird sicherlich auch gekauft. Der Sound ist sehr gut, natürlich muß dann auch der Soundchip oder die Soundkarte eine entsprechende Qualität haben sonst kann die Edifier nicht ihre Performance entfalten. Einziges Manko: Eigentlich vermisse ich noch die Kaufrechnung, konnte sie weder im System noch in der Verpackung entdecken.
